Automobili Lamborghini is a car manufacturer based in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. Lamborghini was founded in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini. Considering Ferruccio's background as a child of viticulturists, it's not surprising that the first Lamborghini was not a sports car, but a tractor instead. Ferruccio decided to create his own version of an elegant, dynamic, super sports car by taking inspiration from a number of luxury automobiles including Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Mercedes Benz, and most notably, Ferrari.
