Schrader 28206 Rubber Valve Snap-In TPMS Relearn Procedure

1. Apply the handbrake and put the gear selector in position P.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Press the MENU button and select the Vehicle information menu.
4. Turn the settings knob and select Pressure monitoring system
5. Push in the SET/CLR button and keep it depressed for 3 seconds to start the matching procedure for the tire pressure sensors. The message "Are you certain that you want to start the procedure?" will be displayed.
6. Press in the SET/CLR button again to confirm the selection. The car horn sounds twice and the blinkers flash to indicate that the tire pressure monitoring receivers are in the programming mode. The message "Tire pressure programming active" appears on the driver information display.
7. Begin with the front tire on the driver's side.
8. Remove the valve cap from the valve. Activate the TPMS sensor by either increasing or decreasing the tire pressure for five seconds or until the horn sounds. It can take up to 30 seconds until the horn sounds. The horn signal confirms that the sensor identification code has been matched with that tire and tire position.
9. Proceed to the front tire on the passenger's side and repeat the procedure in point 8.
10. Proceed to the rear tire on the passenger's side and repeat the procedure in point 8.
11. Proceed to the rear tire on the driver's side and repeat the procedure in point 8. The horn sounds twice to indicate that the sensor identification code has been matched to the rear tire on the driver's side. The TPMS sensor matching is then no longer active. The "Tire pressure programming active" message is then removed from the driver information display.
12. Turn the key OFF.
13. Readjust the tire pressures to the recommended values.
14. Replace the valve caps on the valves.

Schrader 20117 TPMS Relearn Procedure

When new tire pressure sensors are installed, they must be registered to the vehicle using a MAGNET.

1. Turn ignition switch to ON position, with engine OFF.
2. Simultaneously press the keyless entry transmitter’s LOCK and UNLOCK buttons until a horn chirp sounds, indicating the relearn mode has been enabled.
3. Starting at the left front tire, place the MAGNET over the valve stem until the horn chirps (this takes approximately 5 seconds).
4. After the horn chirp sounds, proceed as in previous step for the next 3 sensors in the following order: right front, right rear, then left rear.
5. After the left rear sensor ID is learned, a double horn chirp will sound, indicating all 4 sensor IDs have been learned. Turn the ignition switch to OFF position to exit the learn mode.
6. Make sure all tires, including the spare (if equipped), are inflated to the vehicle’s recommended inflation pressures.
